Stage Manager - Music Producer - Sound Engineer
Deeply passionate about the music industry, I am a Music Producer and Sound Engineer with a degree in Popular Music Production. With a big interest in growing in the industry, I have been training myself in the live scene as both a Sound Engineer and a Stage Manager, developing throughout the process my abilities working inside big teams, organising events, and empathising with all involved parties.

Mateo travelled from Bogota to Barcelona in order to study in Microfusa and later in Southampton Solent University (United Kingdom) in search for his path to becoming a music producer.
From a young age, he knew that music was his thing: Music has always been one of the elements that have calmed me the most in any situation. It's always been a goal in my life as far back as I can remember, he explains.
Although in the beginning Mateo thought of becoming a singer or an instrument player, he later realised it was not his thing and searched for alternatives."
MUSIC IN MY LIFE
Music has always had a special place in my life. Coming from Colombia, a very rich culture musically speaking, allowed me to be constantly in contact with both musicians and music. From family playing and singing during gatherings, radios playing cumbia, salsa, latin rock, 2000's R&B, to meeting big musicians from the local scene such as Doctor Krápula, Aterciopelados, Alfredo Nodarse; I was able to live and relate to music through all its levels. Since I was little, I always felt that I needed to be part of this amazing world. Throughout the years and after trying many things, I discovered my passion for recording, producing, and connecting with musicians. After high school, I decided to study music production in Barcelona and Southampton, and now that I have finished my studies I am eager to find an opportunity to grow in the industry and fulfil my dreams.
